Welcome to Duncan Motorsports Service Department.  The evolution of this department, through technological upgrades, has raised the bar in terms of efficiency with in the department.  Duncan Motorsports is committed to upgrading its facility, whether in the Service Department, Parts Department, or the Sales Department.   In order to give the Duncan Motorsport customer the best experience possible, every year we continue to develop a system that enhances both our products and our services. That said, let us check out some of the upgrades Duncan Motorsports has implimented since 2005.

                                       
RECENT UPGRADES


   

The largest upgrade Duncan Motorsports made in 2005 was to impliment of a new Computer System.  ADP Lightspeed is the largest distributor of Motorsports/ Recreational Vehicle computer software and support in the United States.   Since their move to Canada in 2004, the number of Dealers implimenting ADP Lightspeed in their shops has risen dramatically.  If ADP Lightspeed is not the largest distributor of Motorsports/ Recreational Vehicle computer software in Canada yet, they will be in the near future.  Dealerships buying this program recognize the need to track their business better then they have in the past.  Bottom line, better tracking of your business means more efficient systems, and better customer service. 

                                                             

Upgrading our Tire Machine to the Coats 200EX was an easy decision.  This machine was built spacifically for the Motorsport market taking into concideration the trend that tires and wheels will continue to get larger, more expensive, and therefore more complex to change and manipulate.  The Coats 200EX will change the largest tires with speed and precision, guaranteed not to scratch, or mark expensive wheels.   
    

    

Duncan Motorsports has recently upgraded their Dynojet Dynometer creating a quicker, more accurate interface. With the help of the Dynojet Dynometer, Duncan Motorsports is able to diagnose a variety of performance problems. They are able to fine tune engines and accurately change fuel mapping.  Running your Motorcycle on the Duncan Motorsport Dynometer, with our trained technicians, will result in gained horepower, throttle response, and better fuel economy for your bike. The Dynojet Dynometer is the most recognizable chassis dynometer on the market with more than 4300 installations in over 43 countries.  Duncan Motorsports not only has a Dynometer, they have the best.  
Thinking of installing a Jet Kit and a new Exhaust sytem on your Motorcycle?  Dyno your bike before the installation, then Dyno it after the installation.  The Dynometer will graph your horsepower and torque before and after the installation of your new performance parts.  This way you get to see the results of your investment. 




Playsted Sheet Metal Ltd. (Victoria B.C.) specializes in the installation and fabrication of various types of sheet metal projects. Recently, Duncan Motorsports contracted Playsted Sheet Metal to design and construct an all aluminium outboard kicker testing tank.  Playstead Sheet Metal was chosen because of their experience in this particular field, supplying one of the largest Outboard Boat Motor Dealerships in the country with their Outboard testing tanks.  This Tank will help in the efforts to properly diagnose Outboard Boat Motors up to and including 15 Hp.  This 200 Gallon tank has specially placed baffels allowing the Duncan Motorsport technicians to test outboards at optimal revs and load capacity, thus making it easier to diagnose performance issues. 


STAFF

Duncan Motorsports currently employs three full-time Technicians.  The Duncan Motorsports Service Staff participate's in all Honda and Yamaha technical schools.  Duncan Motorsports believes that in order to succeed in the powersport business, and be competitive in it, our staff must be educated on the newest products and up to date technical information.
